Job Description: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Document Controller to join our remote team at Aetna. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing, organizing, and controlling all documents and records critical to our operations. Your contributions will be instrumental in ensuring that our company continues to thrive and deliver exceptional healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Document Management: Maintain and update an organized system for the storage, retrieval, and management of company documents, records, and files.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all documents are in compliance with company standards and industry regulations.
  • Version Control: Manage document versions and revisions, keeping track of changes and updates.
  • Access Control: Regulate access to sensitive and confidential information, ensuring data security.
  • Documentation Tracking: Monitor and report on the status of documents, ensuring they are up-to-date and readily available when needed.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather, review, and categorize documents.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously assess document management processes and suggest enhancements for greater efficiency.
  • Training: Educate team members on proper document control procedures and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent. Additional education or certification in document management is a plus.
  • Proven experience in a document control role, preferably in a healthcare or related industry.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
