Responsibilities

As a Customer Support Representative at Delta Air Lines, you will:

Serve as the first point of contact for customers, providing timely and empathetic responses to inquiries via phone, email, and live chat.

Resolve issues related to reservations, flight changes, cancellations, and special requests, ensuring customer satisfaction.

Provide accurate, valid, and complete information by utilizing the right tools, resources, and team expertise.

Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within time limits, and follow up to ensure resolution.

Guide customers through our services and products and assist them in using our website and mobile app effectively.

Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure a seamless customer experience.

Participate in training sessions to stay updated on Delta’s policies, new technology, and service enhancements.

Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed and maintaining high-performance metrics.

Requirements

A high school diploma or equivalent; some colleges prefer it.

Proven customer support experience or experience in a client service role

Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening

Familiarity with CRM systems and practices

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.

Emotional intelligence to deal with various types of customers calmly and effectively

Comfortable working in a remote environment with a reliable internet connection and a dedicated workspace

Availability to work in shifts, including weekends, evenings, and some holidays.
