As a Cashier & Front End Services team member at FedEx, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service at the front end of our stores. Your primary duties will include processing customer purchases accurately and efficiently, handling cash and card transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized front end area. Additionally, you will assist customers with any inquiries or issues they may have, including locating products and providing information about store promotions. You will also play a key role in ensuring the overall smooth operation of the store by collaborating with other team members and following established procedures and policies.
Key Responsibilities: Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner Process customer purchases accurately and efficiently Handle cash and card transactions Maintain a clean and organized front end area Assist customers with inquiries and issues Collaborate with other team members to ensure store operations run smoothly Follow established procedures and policies Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred Excellent customer service skills Strong communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Attention to detail Ability to lift and move items up to 50 lbs Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
