Manager - Underwriting

Description:
?? Lead, coach, and develop a team of underwriters to ensure high performance, professional growth, and alignment with business goals.
?? Ensure your team of underwriters are working small business applications in accordance with our underwriting policies and guidelines
?? Work closely with underwriters on your team to address application-related concerns or issues, reviewing applications as needed, and helping them meet their operational KPIs
?? Report to underwriting leadership on team performance, and work with them on ways to enhance our department processes and guidelines, helping to drive department performance

Requirements: ?? Bachelor??s degree ?? 5+ years of professional experience in underwriting (consumer, small business, commercial) ?? 2+ years of experience leading and managing an underwriting team ?? In-depth knowledge of underwriting principles, financial analysis, and regulatory requirements ?? Experience leading and coaching a team and driving results ?? Ability to effectively learn and process information in a fast-paced environment ?? Strong problem solving skills and effective decision making ability
