About the position

The Virtual Nurse-RN is a registered nurse who operates from a centralized location, collaborating with bedside nurses to advocate for patients and their families. This role focuses on providing comprehensive support??physical, emotional, and spiritual??to enhance patient outcomes in a safe environment. The Virtual RN employs the nursing process and evidence-based principles to manage a diverse patient caseload, ensuring compliance with nursing standards and regulations.

Responsibilities
?? Collaborate with bedside nurses to advocate for patients and families.

?? Provide physical, emotional, and spiritual support to patients.

?? Utilize the nursing process and evidence-based principles in patient care.

?? Perform tasks including admissions, discharges, and patient education.

?? Conduct patient rounding and participate in performance improvement initiatives.

?? Ensure compliance with the Ohio Nurse Practice Act and Nursing Code of Ethics.

Requirements
?? Valid Ohio RN license.

?? Associate degree in Nursing from an accredited school.

?? 3-5 years of job-related experience.

?? Basic computer knowledge.

Nice-to-haves
