Front of House Team Member

Overview
As a Front of House Team Member, you will be the face of our establishment, providing exceptional service to our customers and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. You will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences by engaging with guests, taking orders, and assisting with food service operations. This position requires a friendly demeanor, strong communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties
?? Greet customers warmly and provide them with menus.
?? Take customer orders accurately and efficiently using a POS system.
?? Ensure food handling and safety standards are met at all times.
?? Assist in food preparation and presentation as needed.
?? Maintain cleanliness of the front of house area, including bussing tables and restocking supplies.
?? Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and customer satisfaction.
?? Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to enhance their experience.
?? Support sales initiatives through effective communication and upselling techniques.

Skills
?? Knowledge of food handling and food safety practices is essential.
?? Basic math skills for handling transactions and providing accurate change.
?? Strong customer service skills to engage effectively with guests.
?? Experience in food service or grocery store environments is preferred.
?? Familiarity with retail math concepts to assist in inventory management.
?? Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve common goals.
?? Previous experience with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
