About the position

The Accounting Associate Intermediate position at Robert Half focuses on providing trade support within the Loan Trading Documentation team. This role is designed for individuals with a solid understanding of accounting functions and banking operations, and it offers a hybrid work model combining both office and remote work. The position is a short-term contract opportunity, emphasizing the importance of strong communication and time management skills while managing a heavy trade portfolio.

Responsibilities
• Review and coordinate the settlement of third party assignments in collaboration with front office clients, counsel, and operations.

• Establish and maintain strong working relationships with clients and counterparts.
,
• Manage a heavy trade portfolio across various business lines, ensuring a clean ageing profile.
,
• Review LSTA standard documents along with other legal documents, and Credit Agreements, focusing on assignability language.
,
• Identify and escalate issues to front office, in-house legal counsel, and management when necessary.
,
• Prepare daily and weekly MIS reports to track the status of open items and measure risk.
,
• Demonstrate strong time management skills and the ability to organize workload efficiently.
,
• Communicate effectively with clients, showing attention to detail and not being afraid to ask questions.

• Take initiative to learn and understand all aspects of the role.
,
• Utilize Microsoft Excel and other relevant software for various tasks including documentation, reporting, and operations.
