Key Responsibilities
?? Review mortgage loan applications and gather necessary documentation for processing.
?? Ensure accuracy and completeness of loan files according to regulatory requirements and company policies.
?? Utilize Automated Underwriting Systems (AUS) such as Desktop Underwriter (DU) and Loan Prospector (LP) to assess loan eligibility.
?? Verify applicant information, including income, credit history, and property details, using industry tools and resources.
?? Communicate effectively with loan officers, underwriters, and clients to obtain additional information as needed.
?? Coordinate with internal teams to facilitate timely processing and closing of loans, leveraging processes like ACE (Automated Collateral Evaluation) and PIW (Property Inspection Waiver).
?? Maintain detailed records and documentation throughout the loan processing cycle, adhering to industry standards and guidelines.

Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise
?? 3+ years of experience in mortgage processing or related field.
?? 3+ years of experience using a LOS (Encompass preferred)
?? Must have experience with order outs and calling third parties
?? Familiar with using office applications
?? Proficient communication skills
?? Great personality
?? Finance and accounting experience is a plus
?? Knowledge of mortgage industry regulations and guidelines, including Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac requirements.
