A designer is someone who is heavily involved in AutoCad, loves sharing new designs that they trust with their peers. Plus, you get a flexible schedule. Work a compressed 4-day workweek? Start earlier and leave earlier? Start later, and leave later? Remote? Hybrid? You name it.
The ideal candidate for the position is someone who:
Has experience using popular Cad, ShipConstructor, and Outlook, preferably ABS Guidelines as well.
Is capable of speaking publicly about their work and maintaining good relationships with others and their coworkers.
Is comfortable on camera to take photos, videos, and other media.
Is comfortable traveling for work events/meetings, within reason.
Is not pushy but a classy and professional communicator.
