The Senior Payroll Specialist at OneDigital is responsible for managing multi-state payroll processing, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and driving process improvements. This role plays a crucial part in payroll operations, including tax setup, payroll configuration, and compliance auditing, while also providing exceptional customer service to employees. Responsibilities
?? Manage multi-state payroll and related activities including wage and overtime payments, payroll deductions, and separation payments.

?? Execute payroll processing, tax setup, compliance, and payroll configuration within HRIS.

?? Conduct compliance audits and prepare manual payments when required.

?? Coordinate 401(k) contribution and HSA submission processes, ensuring accurate data input.
,
?? Audit and review benefit deductions, reconciling against election and enrollment information.
,
?? Identify areas for improvement in payroll and benefits processes and recommend best practices.
,
?? Collaborate with HR and finance teams to address issues and optimize operations.
,
?? Complete monthly and quarterly audits related to payroll and benefits.

?? Assist with generalist responsibilities when coverage is needed.
Requirements
?? 7-10 years of payroll experience in a dedicated payroll function across multiple states/jurisdictions.

?? Working knowledge of payroll processing, taxes, compliance, and auditing.
,
?? Demonstrated ability to improve processes and diagnose problems.

?? Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.

?? Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

?? Experience in providing quality customer service.
