Job Title: Part-Time Bookkeeper

Job Overview

We are seeking an organized and meticulous Part-Time Bookkeeper to become an integral member of our expanding team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing our inventory-related financial records, monitoring costs, reconciling accounts, and delivering crucial financial insights to support our strategic decision-making processes. If you possess expertise in QuickBooks and have a firm grasp of accrual-based accounting principles, we would be delighted to receive your application.

Key Responsibilities
• Maintain accurate inventory records while diligently tracking food and beverage costs.
• Reconcile inventory purchases, usage, and waste to ensure financial precision.
• Analyze inventory trends to uncover potential cost-saving initiatives.
• Record daily transactions associated with inventory, ensuring all documentation is both accurate and appropriately categorized.
• Generate and evaluate financial reports to uphold data integrity.
• Assist in the accounts payable and receivable processes related to inventory purchases.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and financial best practices.
• Collaborate with management to refine inventory control mechanisms and enhance the efficiency of financial reporting.
• Keep organized and current inventory records.

Required Skills
• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in financial record-keeping.
• Ability to analyze data, identifying trends in inventory and expenses.
• Strong organizational and time-management capabilities.

Qualifications
• Previous bookkeeping experience, ideally within a restaurant or hospitality context.
• Proficiency in TOAST POS and QuickBooks is highly advantageous.
