Key Duties and Responsibilities: ?Performance of a suite of projects within a construction portfolio ($50M-150M). ?Accountable for all work performed by the team. ?Provide timely, concise, and transparent communications to operations and all stakeholders. ?Support internal stakeholders / serve as subject matter experts guiding business and initiative creation. ?Financial forecasting / Budgeting Construction SOPs / Process improvements ?Creation of large-scale project plans ?Allocating resources across programs / resource management and utilization. ?Contribute to the design review process ensuring accuracy against defined scope of work. ?Review and approval of bids prior to contract award. ?Responsible for evaluating contracts, expanding and diversifying general contractor base. ?Measurement of contractor / vendor performance. ?Removal of obstacles to time / cost / quality goals. ?Assess program performance through Key Performance Indicators for safety, time, cost and quality. ?Coaching, training and development of your team. ?Hiring and staff discipline / annual performance reviews with entire team. ?Construction regulations / codes / guidelines. ?Cost / value engineering exercises. ?Executive stakeholder management. ?Keeping up with construction industry changes/trends. ?Cultivate a culture of safety in accordance with department guidelines. ?Responsible for setting your team? goals and targets. ?30% travel or as needed for program support, with the potential of traveling all over North America based on business needs.

Education and Experience

Education: Bachelors/4 Yr Degree
Years of Relevant Work Experience: 5+ years
Years of Management Experience: 5+ years

Alternatively: High School diploma/GED with equivalent experience or 4 + years of US military experience

Specific Knowledge and Skills:
?Operational experience in c-store, fueling, or quick service restaurant
?Understanding of accessibility laws and how they apply
?Expertise in installing and maintaining retail (UST) fueling systems
?Construction management experience
?5+ years leading team of multiple construction mgrs.
