The Team

The Global Data Services (GDS) team within Fidelity Fund and Investment Operations (FFIO) is a global, investment data management organization that specializes in the sourcing, analysis, integration, management and distribution of security, index, and portfolio data. GDS provides these data services for reference, evaluative, performance and analytical data in support of global investment decision making organizations. Data Management Operations (DMO), a division of GDS, specializes in managing, integrating and validating vendor and Fidelity-defined data associated with investment entities (securities, issues, brokers, funds, portfolios and index data).

We are seeking a highly motivated and responsive team player who is able to multi-task and has excellent analytic skills. Our work is highly collaborative and involves close coordination and excellent communication with our clients, market data vendors and key business and technology partners across Fidelity.

The Investment Data Analyst will perform critical functions to support daily operations. Including investment entity set-up for the respective trading desks, perform detailed data analysis, and identify and resolve data issues. Quality, accuracy, and timeliness are critical to the success of this function.

The Expertise You Have
?Bachelor's degree in Business/Finance or related field
?2-5 years?experience working in an Operations, Business Analysis, and/or Data Analyst role
?Financial Services Industry experience working with reference data preferred
?Experience working with analysis/reporting tools such as SQL, R, and OBIEE preferred

?Able to interact with vendors, clients and end users of the data
?Exhibited skills in problem identification and resolution
?Strong analysis skills resulting in the ability to respond to customer inquiries with accuracy
?Proven ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines
?Solid oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
?Good organizational and project management skills to navigate through high volume setting with tight deadlines?
?Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively with all levels of staff, management and other business partners
?Data analytics, data mining, reporting, operations research and data manipulation experience preferred
?Data Visualization knowledge and skills a plus
