U.S. Bank is seeking a full-time Lead Software Engineer - Full Stack (Multiple openings) in Irving, TX.

Essential Responsibilities:

Develop full stack applications by analyzing business requirements and designing solutions for the Financial Confidence & Business Banking department using SpringBoot API, Cassandra, Kafka, Spark technologies, MongoDB, REST API, CI/CD, Jenkins, Maven. Specific duties include:
?Develop, test and lead Android application development using Kotlin, Java, Dagger, RX Java, Android SDK, Android studio, DDMS, SQLite, Gradle, GIT, HTML, Java Script, and CSS;
?Use agile software development lifecycle and DevOps principles (CI/CD, Jenkins, Maven);
?Use algorithms, data structures, architectural design patterns MVVM, MVP and MVC and best practices to resolve complex application development issues;
?Perform analysis on failures, propose design changes, and encourage operational improvements, and make sound design/coding decisions keeping customer experience in the forefront;
?Collaborate with product teams, engineers, scrum masters, third party vendors and customers; and
?Prepare solution design documentation using charts and Postman.
?Uses the following tools and technologies: Kotlin, JAVA, HTML, CSS, DDMS, Git, JIRA, Eclipse, Android Studio, SpringBoot API, Cassandra, Kafka, Spark, MongoDB, REST API, CI/CD, Jenkins, Maven, MVVM, MVP and MVC architectural design patterns, Charts, Postman, Android SDK (DDMS).

Basic Qualifications:

This position requires a Bachelor? degree or equivalent in Computer Science or Computer Engineering and 5 years (progressive, post-baccalaureate) of software and application development experience.

Required Skills/Experience:

Must also have 60 months of (progressive, post-baccalaureate) with each of the following: (1) Developing Android applications using Kotlin, JAVA, HTML, CSS, DDMS, Git, JIRA, Eclipse, and Android Studio. (2) Designing solutions using SpringBoot API, Cassandra, Kafka, Spark, MongoDB, REST API, CI/CD, Jenkins, Maven, and MVVM, MVP and MVC architectural design patterns. (3) Using agile software development lifecycle and DevOps principles. (4) Preparing solution design documentation using Charts and Postman. (5) Using Android SDK performance tools and optimization tools. Employer will accept experience gained concurrently. Up to 10% U.S. (domestic) travel per year to attend technical discussions and quarterly planning meetings at company locations.
