Data Analyst

Job Description: The Data Analyst will play a critical role in supporting our servicing area by developing and maintaining reports, analyzing data, and providing insights that drive strategic decisions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis within the mortgage servicing industry and a proven record of delivering actionable insights.

The ideal candidate for this role demonstrates a strong bias toward action, proactively identifying and resolving issues with both timely efficiency and precision. They will have a solid understanding of Business Intelligence initiatives and a robust background in data management and analysis, enabling them to deliver impactful insights and drive value for the organization.

Responsibilities: ? Design, develop, and implement solutions utilizing Microsoft SQL Server. ? Translate business requirements into specific technical designs. ? Adhere to industry coding standards / clean code principles. ? Follow standard design, development, testing, and implementation phases of the Software Development Life Cycle

? Work closely with management to prioritize business and information needs. Develop Queries for ad-hoc reporting requests from managers.

? Prepare reports for executive leadership that effectively communicate trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data in conjunction with a new Tableau reporting process.

? Develop and implement data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and data quality.

? Identify opportunities to automate reporting processes and improve efficiency.
? Collaborate with business teams to define data requirements and reporting needs.
? Stay up to date with, research, and recommend current trends in Microsoft SQL Server and Database tools
? Work with multiple teams to develop new systems and expand functionality to existing applications

Job Requirements: ? Bachelor?s degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics, or a related field is preferred. ? Minimum 3-5 years of Microsoft SQL Server development experience. ? Hands on experience writing T-SQL to create schemas, table structures, stored procedures, functions and complex queries with CTEs, temporary tables and variables. ? Experience with database performance tuning and troubleshooting ? Experience with data warehousing and replication techniques ? Strong understanding of database design, normalization, and optimization techniques ? Experience in a reporting or data analyst role, preferably within the mortgage servicing industry. ? Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy. ? Adept at querying complex data, report writing, and presenting findings. ? Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau). Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS, etc.). ? Familiarity with database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, Snowflake, MySQL). ? Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. ? Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate complex data insights in a clear and concise manner. Role will work closely with business unit managers. ? Strong problem solving and analytical skills with the ability to clearly communicate and share solutions with fellow team members ? This role requires flexibility, as additional responsibilities and tasks may be assigned based on evolving business needs. ? Team player and a quick learner, able to easily adjust to new project requirements

Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
