This position involves accurately typing and organizing data from various sources into computer systems, ensuring data integrity and supporting administrative functions.
Data Input:
Typing information from handwritten documents, phone calls, or recordings into a computer system.
Scanning documents and entering data into an online database.
Recording data from patients directly into the online system.
Data Management:
Maintaining the accuracy and integrity of computerized records systems.
Verifying data by comparing source documents.
Updating existing data.
Administrative Tasks:
May also include tasks similar to those of an administrative assistant, such as answering phone calls, sorting mail, and greeting patients or visitors.
Skills Required: Strong typing speed and accuracy. Proficiency with basic computer software. Attention to detail. Organizational skills. Time management skills. Other Potential Responsibilities: Creating accurate spreadsheets. Retrieving data or electronic files. Compiling, sorting, and verifying accuracy of demographic, financial, and/or customer data before it is entered.
