Claims Processor

We at BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina are looking for an experienced Claims Processor to join our team! The successful candidate will be a detail-oriented individual who takes initiative and works well both independently and as part of a team.To be successful in this role, the Claims Processor must have excellent organizational and problem-solving skills and a strong customer service orientation. The ideal candidate will also possess the following qualifications: ? 3+ years of experience in a claims processing role? Proficient computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office? Excellent written and verbal communication skills? Ability to multitask and prioritize workloads? Strong attention to detail and accuracy? Responsibilities: ? Process and review claims submitted by clients in accordance with company policies and procedures ? Troubleshoot and resolve claims processing issues ? Ensure compliance with healthcare industry regulations and procedures ? Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner ? Maintain accurate and up-to-date claims records ? Analyze reports to identify trends and patterns in claims processing ? Assist in the development and implementation of new processes and procedures to improve claims processing efficiency ? Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate claims processing ? Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis
