A Colorado Law Firm is seeking a highly motivated and self-sufficient Workers' Compensation Claims Adjuster to join our Work Comp Department. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a high level of attention to detail, and enjoys helping others. This role involves managing and analyzing workers' compensation claims from start to finish, including facilitating and coordinating the claims process, filing necessary state forms, negotiating settlements, and managing coordination of medical care. The CA must stay updated on Colorado Workers' Compensation laws and procedures and work closely with attorneys, medical professionals, and clients to ensure efficient and effective claim resolution. Key Responsibilities: ? Case Management: Manage a caseload, ensuring timely and accurate processing from initiation to resolution. ? Facilitation and Coordination: Oversee and coordinate the entire workers' compensation claim process, including filing required state forms, managing medical care coordination, and assisting in with the negotiation of settlements. ? Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for claimants, employers, medical providers, attorneys, and clients. Provide clear and accurate information regarding claim status, benefits, and processes. ? Documentation: Maintain detailed and organized records of all claims activities, ensuring compliance with state regulations and company policies. Prepare reports and summaries as needed. ? Compliance: Ensure that all claims are handled in accordance with state laws, company policies, and best practices, with particular attention to Colorado Workers' Compensation laws.

Qualifications: ? Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Insurance, Risk Management, or a related field preferred. ? Experience: Prior experience as a claims handler or paralegal handling Workers' Compensation Claims, with a preference for experience in Colorado. ? Knowledge: Strong understanding of Colorado Workers' Compensation laws and regulations. Familiarity with medical terminology and injury assessment.

Experience:
? Prior experience as a claims handler or paralegal handling Workers? Compensation Claims (Colorado preferred).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
