We're seeking motivated students with diverse backgrounds, excellent academic credentials, and significant personal achievements to join our Application System team for a summer internship in 2024.
This opportunity is open to highly motivated, creative individuals who are actively enrolled in an undergraduate or advanced degree program. They will work in a challenging environment where contribution, teamwork, and communication drive success.
? Paid internship positions are available at our corporate office in Harrisburg.
? Interns will participate in various experiences through meaningful work assignments, observation opportunities, and social interactions.
? In the spirit of Capital Blue Cross, interns will be given the chance to complete a service project with one of our community partners.
? Interns will engage in ongoing company initiatives and be encouraged to translate their classroom learning into fresh perspectives that positively impact colleagues, members, and communities served.
? Interns will have the opportunity to formally present their experience outcomes and share unique perspectives with our executive and extended leadership team.
? A variety of Capital team members will provide interns with periodic feedback and professional development programming to support growth.
? The internship program aims to provide interns with formal and informal opportunities to network with Capital Blue Cross staff and participate in company-wide learning events.
Responsibilities and Qualifications
Position Requirements: ? Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate level program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology Management, Math, or a related field of study. ? Preferred GPA of 3.2 or higher (based on a 4.0 scale or equivalent). ? Ability to commit full-time to an 11?13-week program running from May 20 to August 16. ? Strong written and oral communication skills. ? Ability to work in a team environment and handle multiple tasks. ? Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills. ? Commitment to an onsite or hybrid work schedule.

? This position is classified as hybrid, requiring onsite work on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
