About the position

Great Southern Bank is seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Teller I. This part-time position is designed for those who are looking to start their career in banking and customer service. As a Teller, you will play a crucial role in providing a variety of customer service functions, ensuring that each customer receives exemplary service while processing financial transactions accurately and efficiently. You will be responsible for maintaining the security of assigned cash, balancing daily transactions, and verifying cash totals, all while adhering to the bank's policies and procedures. In this role, you will be accountable for representing Great Southern Bank in a courteous and professional manner. You will implement the 5 Winning Ways of Customer Service on a daily basis, striving to meet or exceed Secret Shop score expectations. A basic working knowledge of the bank's services and products is essential, as you will routinely refer customers to appropriate offerings. You will also be expected to use the CRM program consistently and accurately, ensuring that customer interactions are documented and followed up appropriately. Your responsibilities will include balancing each day's transactions, locating any cash discrepancies, and ensuring that they are properly documented. You will process all transactions efficiently, maintaining confidentiality of customer account information and adhering to security policies. Compliance with banking regulations and policies is critical, and you will be required to attend annual training sessions on BSA and Security. Regular attendance, punctuality, and a professional appearance are also essential components of this role. Responsibilities

? Maintain confidentiality of customer account information and adhere to bank security policies and procedures.

? Ensure compliance with all bank policies, procedures, and applicable banking regulations.

? Maintain regular and reliable attendance, punctuality, and personal appearance.

Requirements
? High school diploma or GED required.
,
? 0 to 6 months of related experience or training preferred.
,
? Prior banking or cash handling experience is preferred.
,
? Regular use of desktop/laptop computer and basic operating systems.
,
? Basic experience with alphanumeric data entry, PowerPoint, Excel, and word processing.
,
? Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
