About the position

The Branch Programs Director at the East Texas Food Bank (ETFB) is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing the operations of multiple branches within the service area. This position ensures that each branch operates efficiently and aligns with the strategic goals of the ETFB. Reporting directly to the Chief Impact Officer, the Branch Programs Director will play a crucial role in supporting the Resource Center teams as they serve the community and contribute to the overall strategic plan of the organization. In this role, the Branch Programs Director will be tasked with hiring, training, and supervising ETFB Branch Managers, ensuring adherence to ETFB policies and procedures. The Director will conduct timely and constructive performance evaluations and manage disciplinary actions in collaboration with the Chief HR Officer. Financial oversight is also a key responsibility, as the Director will monitor the financial performance of each branch and provide necessary reports to the CFO and CDO. The Director will act as a communication liaison between the branches and the ETFB, fostering strong relationships with clients, managers, contractors, donors, and community leaders. This role involves communicating new policies and procedures to branch locations and identifying opportunities for advancement within the service area. Safety and security protocols will be overseen, ensuring compliance with all regulations and best practices. Additionally, the Branch Programs Director will coordinate activities related to the construction and maintenance of branches, oversee contract negotiations, and conduct cost analyses for new branch build-outs and operational budgets. Collaboration with interdepartmental teams and vendors is essential to ensure that expansion projects are completed on time and to specifications. The Director will also work with the marketing team to create informational materials to promote new branches and programs in the community. Other related duties may be assigned as necessary.

Responsibilities
? Oversee branches within the service area, ensuring smooth operations and strategic goal alignment.

? Hire, train, oversee, and advise ETFB Branch Managers according to ETFB policies and procedures.

? Conduct timely and constructive performance evaluations for branch managers.

? Handle discipline and termination of employees in cooperation with the Chief HR Officer.

? Oversee the financial performance of each branch and provide reporting to the CFO and CDO.
,
? Act as a communication liaison between the branches and ETFB.
,
? Develop and maintain good working relationships with clients, managers, contractors, donors, and community leaders.
,
? Communicate new policies and procedures to branch locations.
,
? Identify advancement opportunities within the service area and report findings to the CDO.
,
? Oversee safety, security, and proper warehouse protocols within the branches.
,
? Coordinate with COO for consistency in training and adherence to safety policies.
,
? Assist branch managers as needed to meet strategic goals.
,
? Plan, coordinate, organize, oversee, and direct activities regarding the construction and maintenance of branches.
,
? Oversee contract negotiations, revisions, and additions.
,
? Respond quickly to deviations from planned timelines or budgets.
,
? Conduct cost analysis estimating expected costs for new branch build-outs and ongoing operational budgets.

? Coordinate with interdepartmental teams and vendors to complete expansion projects on time and accurately.

? Collaborate with marketing team to provide informational materials for new branches and programs.

? Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, contractual, and company regulations, standards, and best practices.

Requirements
? Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.

? At least 3 years of related experience in project management.

? Strong management and leadership skills.

? Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

? Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

? Understanding of engineering, architectural, and other construction drawings is helpful.

? Ability to speak Spanish preferred.
