Provides administrative and clerical support to staff by answering phones, typing, filing, copying, communicating with other departments and completing special projects.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.
? Provides exceptional administrative support for special projects involving gathering information, analyzing facts and compiling information to ensure increased productivity for the department.
? Create all claim files by entering them into the automation system.
? Types memos, labels, letters, reports and other correspondence for the department.
? Performs follow-up on all suspense according to CRC policy and procedure.
? Files, faxes, and copies correspondence and other documents as needed.
? Answers telephone and gives information to callers, transfers calls to appropriate staff, completes messages, or follows up as necessary.
? Sorts and distributes incoming mail and prepares outgoing mail.
? Scans new mail.
? Performs claim status requests and updates.
? Prepares daily, weekly, and monthly reports for management as needed.
? Maintain office supplies and equipment for department/office.
? Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

? High School diploma or equivalent work experience
? Good organizational/time management skills
? Ability to work under time constraints and meet deadlines
? Strong verbal and written communications skills
? Ability to operate a computer, calculator, multi-line phone, fax machine, copier, and other office equipment
? Knowledge and use of correct spelling and grammar
? Ability to write legibly
? Ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organization and with a variety of people from diverse backgrounds
? Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software
? Ability to adhere to all organizational policies and procedures

Preferred Qualifications
? College classes in Business
? Administrative support experience

The annual base salary for this position is $70,000.00 - $90,000.00.
