As a Senior Human Resources Business Partner, you will provide strategic advice and counsel on talent matters to Senior Leaders and their respective leadership teams in Investment Banking. As an HR professional, you will work closely with business leaders to drive business results through talent strategies that attract and retain the best talent. You are accountable for enabling a high level of employee engagement leading to a superior client experience and sustainable value creation. You will partner closely with the Head of HR for Investment Banking and work with HR teams across various regions to drive key people priorities.
What will you do?
? Act as the primary HR point of contact for Senior Leaders
? Align with business leaders in the planning and execution of overall business strategies, and advise on potential HR contributions, solutions, implications and risks of proposed business initiatives; this includes impacting RBC?s goals related to financial performance through advice to businesses regarding workforce planning and structural changes.
? Advance and execute the RBC and Capital Markets HR strategic objectives, including the implementation of HR programs and coaching leaders
? Assess and strengthen leadership depth and employee capability through integrated leadership and talent programs, development opportunities and learning interventions.
? Provide direction in executing performance enablement practices/processes for the business in line with business strategy and culture; coach leadership in execution.
? Advise on business and best practice strategies to source, retain and develop the best talent in order to meet business needs.
? Develop and execute employee engagement strategies that create exceptional experiences.
? Guide and direct business leaders on compensation and employee relations issues.
What do you need to succeed?
? Undergraduate degree
? 8+ years of advanced experience in Human Resources including talent management, leadership development, workforce planning and compensation or advanced knowledge of Personal and Commercial business (including Distribution roles)
? Ability to prioritize high volume; competing priorities for multiple stakeholders and in turn deliver balance of advice and counsel with strong execution capabilities.
? Ability to understand, assess and respond to complex situations and provide strategic solutions.
? Strong business acumen and consulting orientation at the executive level.
The expected salary range for this particular position is $150,000-$220,000 , depending on your experience, skills, and registration status, market conditions and business needs. You have the potential to earn more through RBC?s discretionary variable compensation program which gives you an opportunity to increase your total compensation, provided the business meets its performance targets and you meet your individual goals.
