About the position

The Family Risk Advisor is a pivotal role within our organization, responsible for marketing, prospecting, and selling our diverse range of insurance products. In this position, you will be tasked with maintaining effective customer relationships, understanding customer needs, and matching them with the appropriate product and service offerings. This role operates in a flex office/home environment, requiring at least 10 days per month to be spent working from our Falcon Heights, MN storefront. You will report directly to the Manager of Branch Sales, who will provide guidance and support as you navigate your responsibilities. As a Family Risk Advisor, your primary accountabilities will include selling available insurance products to new customers while also servicing existing clients. You will be responsible for estimating and quoting policy premiums in compliance with underwriting guidelines. Gathering all necessary information to assess whether prospective customers meet these guidelines will be a critical part of your role. When needed, you will contact appropriate branch staff or divisions for underwriting guidance to ensure that all policies are accurately assessed and quoted. Meeting sales and sales quality goals will be essential, and you will learn to convert incoming leads into qualified customer engagements. Managing a prospecting pipeline and developing a sales tracking system to maintain accurate prospect and customer information will also be part of your daily tasks. Providing solid customer experiences is paramount, and you will direct potential customers to other branch staff or resources for additional information as needed. Additionally, you will collaborate with leaders and team members to create content for social media campaigns that align with our marketing strategy, driving our online presence across all social and digital channels. Building and maintaining community contacts will enhance company visibility and maximize new business opportunities, while retaining existing accounts through excellent customer service will be a key focus of your role. This position requires a keen attention to detail, the ability to multi-task across multiple computer systems, and the capability to clearly explain insurance concepts and coverages to clients. To succeed in this role, you will need to obtain and maintain the necessary insurance licenses, including Property and Casualty, as well as Life and Health, within the required timeframe after your hire date. Requirements
? Attention to detail to provide accurate quotes to clients.

? Ability to multi-task on multiple computer systems/screens during a quote.

? Ability to clearly explain insurance concepts and coverages to clients.

? One year of insurance experience preferred.
,
? Valid driver's license required plus an acceptable driving record.
,
? Required by state statutes to have proper insurance licensing to sell, solicit or negotiate insurance products: Property and Casualty, Life and Health.

? Successfully obtain and maintain property and casualty, life, and health producer licenses for sales and service state(s).
,
? Required to pass the state licensing exam for property and casualty, life, and health producer licenses within 60 days of hire date.
