JOB SUMMARY: This role works to create and manage distribution of financial reporting while providing continual process improvements through the utilization of effective internal controls and compliance management. The incumbent will work to ensure that all transactions and documentation consistently comply with US GAAP and International Accounting Standards.
JOB ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: ? Manage the preparation and distribution of SEC financial and other reports with an eye on maintaining the highest levels of quality, reliability, and accuracy. ? Develop, execute and maintain the integrity of the financial reporting processes and relevant financial controls. ? Manage communications with external customers specific to financial statements and reports. ? Assist in the preparation of quarterly earnings press releases and earnings call materials. ? Communicate and explain accounting issues and provide relevant guidance to the management team as necessary. ? Monitor and ensure timely identification and compliance with evolving accounting guidance. Provide US GAAP interpretation and prepare technical documentation that documents issues in a clear, logical manner. ? Develop and maintain accounting policies. ? Create and maintain SEC calendar to inform necessary parties to assure relevant deadline adherence. ? Implement and maintain effective reporting procedures to ensure continual compliance with internal control requirements. ? Advise and counsel senior leadership as appropriate. ? Aid in the coordination of annual audit and quarterly review activities as needed. ? Collaborate, coordinate, and communicate across disciplines and departments. ? Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and requirements. ? Demonstrate commitment to the Company's core values. ? JOB SCOPE:
This individual works independently under minimal supervision. The incumbent applies comprehensive knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures to complete job responsibilities. The incumbent acts as a resource for senior leadership and is relied upon to be the subject matter expert in the field. This position will require the incumbent to regularly liaise with colleagues amongst all levels of the organizational structure. This is a managerial position with authority for all HR actions (hiring, terminations, discipline, training, etc.
COMPENSATION
The salary range for this position is $130K. Specific offers take into account a candidate's education, experience and skills, as well as the candidate's work location and internal equity. This position is also eligible for health insurance, 401k and bonus opportunity.
JOB REQUIREMENTS (Education, Experience, and Training):
? Minimum high school diploma along with progressive accounting experience inclusive of exposure to publicly traded organizations. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is highly preferred.
? Advanced knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and SEC regulations.
? Required licenses, professional certifications, and/or board certifications as applicable.

? Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
? Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of board of directors, senior leadership or other members of the organizational structure.

? Ability to represent the company in a positive and professional manner
? Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities in a positive and professional manner
? Ability to work well both independently and as a member of a team
? Ability to use software, hardware, and peripherals related to job responsibilities
? Individual in this position must be able to work in a standard office environment which requires sitting and viewing monitor(s) for extended periods of time, operating standard office equipment such as, but not limited to, a keyboard, copier and telephone
