Position is based in-office at 316 N. Main Street, Benton, AR 72015. Position requires availability Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm with additional hours as needed.

Job Title: WACO Hybrid Closing Agent

As a key closing team member, the Hybrid Closing Agent acts as a transaction specialist between processing and closing, collaborating with buyers, sellers, real estate agents, lenders, and attorneys to ensure successful closings. This position involves preparing files and documents, coordinating with all parties to meet title and lender requirements, disbursing and balancing funds, and managing document delivery. The Hybrid Closing Agent maintains accurate, timely, and professional communication throughout the document processing and closing process while adhering to ALTA's Best Practices.

What You Will Do at Arvest: (Other duties may be assigned.)
? Provide exceptional customer service throughout the closing process for assigned files.
? Monitor weekly closing date reports to ensure deadlines are met.
? Gain proficiency in the title insurance industry and real estate closing process, proactively identifying and addressing potential delays, ensuring no task is overdue by more than two business days.
? Analyze title commitments, determining pre-closing requirements and ensuring timely delivery to customers, proactively communicating any potential delays.
? Facilitate and clearly and understandably explain loan, company, and underwriter documents to customers during signature acquisition.
? Prepare and balance Settlement Statements for closings.
? Collaborate with lenders to balance the Closing Disclosure or ALTA Settlement Statement, ensuring compliance with lender instructions.
? Table fund closing transactions, ensuring accurate disbursement, balancing, and timely fund disbursement to minimize closing losses. Monitor escrow reports to maintain company standards.
? Read and interpret real estate contracts, title commitments, and lender instructions, ensuring compliance with title insurance underwriting guidelines, lender requirements, contract terms, regulatory requirements, and company quality standards.
? Perform quality assurance measures, such as ALTA reviews, to ensure accuracy and prevent closing losses. Review all documents for accuracy to enable immediate policy issuance.
? Follow up with customers to obtain missing documents and meet closing deadlines.
? Schedule closing appointments and proactively communicate any delays or rescheduling needs.
? Promote company services, present customer-focused options, and cross-sell related products by applying sales techniques.
? Establish and execute sales strategies to generate new business, including prospecting, cold calling, networking, and relationship building with realtors, lenders, builders, and Centers of Influence. Collaborate with the Business Development Representative where applicable.
? Cultivate a thorough understanding of closing department best practices and standards.
? Demonstrate courteous and professional interactions with all parties (customers, lenders, borrowers, sellers, vendors) while protecting company interests.
? Proactively manage inbound and outbound calls, providing exceptional customer service and building fundamental sales and networking skills.
? Fulfill lender/title requirements and contract terms by coordinating with third-party vendors for services such as termite reports, home warranties, and inspections. Work closely with lenders to achieve a mutually agreeable final closing disclosure, ensuring compliance with all requirements and contract terms.
? BSA/AML Program, as applicable to your job duties. This includes but is not limited to completing compliance training and adhering to internal procedures and controls; reporting any known violations of compliance policy, laws, or regulations; and reporting any suspicious customer and/or account activity.

Responsibilities:

Required Toolbox for Success:
? Associate degree or equivalent experience or relevant military experience
? 2 years of closing processor and/or title experience or equivalent related experience
? Licensed Notary Public (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
? Licensed Title Agent (or ability to obtain within one year)
? Experience working across all levels of management and clients; also required to be skilled in handling demanding, high-maintenance client requests with precision, accuracy and a high level of customer service
? Exceptional consultative skills preferred: ability to probe, listen, clarify, and present information to advance sales transactions

Preferred Toolbox for Success:
? Sales and/or customer service experience
? Strong analytical and data analysis skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Google Workspace
? Bachelor's degree in a related field

Relevant military experience is considered for veterans and transitioning service members.
