Position is Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm with the ability to work additional hours as project needs demand.
Incumbent should be located anywhere within the Arvest 4 State Footprint (AR, KS, MO, OK). Remote work options may be available outside of the 4-state footprint upon further review during the interview process.

Job Title: Innovation, Technology & Operations (ITO) Principal Product Manager
An ITO Principal Product Manager at Arvest has a deep understanding of target users/customers for a product, a general knowledge of the banking industry and a deep understanding of those aspects that relate to a specific product. They coach and develop product managers on their team to expand product knowledge. The ITO Principal Product Manager manages the most strategically important products or products with multiple impacted teams. They mentor indirectly or, in some cases, have other product associates that report directly to them.
The ITO Principal Product Manager owns the product roadmap and prioritizes building what matters most to achieve the strategic goals and initiatives behind the product. They consolidate similar themes into a narrative that resonates at the company level, identify and describe new opportunities that help to further company goals and work with peers to translate that into a coherent roadmap. They connect a product vision and feature roadmap to company strategy. They tie their team's efforts to the overall product and company strategy and make product roadmap recommendations based on those factors to maximize team outcomes.
What You?ll Do at Arvest: (Other duties may be assigned.)
? Participate in developing strategy, vision, and priorities for critical products. Align the business goals and customer needs and earn support from key stakeholders by proactively learning about their needs.
? Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize, execute, and release.
? Define and improve product Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
? Lead the development and attainment of key performance indicators and success measurements for the assigned product.
? Leverage data insights gathered to help drive roadmap planning and quarterly goal setting. Present progress against those goals (e.g., building the right dashboards and reports) to a broad audience. Help to guide the team's use of data and emphasize its role in decision-making. Effectively translate insights into understanding the causal factors that drive product success.
? Execute product roadmaps in line with timing plans, ongoing monitoring, and improvement.
? Articulate product visions in visual forms and sketch out the basics of a new product idea. Collaborate with the team's design team and give clear and constructive feedback. Advocate for effectively using design systems to make products consistent and understandable for customers.
? Leverage user feedback to uncover unmet needs, validate new concepts, and improve existing products. Partner closely with design to ensure user research is available and incorporated.
? Influence strategic decisions with senior managers within and outside the product organization. Prioritize and resource decisions to give initiatives the support they need.
? Assist team members with identifying areas of strength and opportunity. Work with them to find ways to build their skills and improve against the relevant product competencies. Look for opportunities to help them improve and develop into product leaders.
? Teach team members to identify and manage stakeholders by demonstrating good judgment to find the right balance between various stakeholder needs: either incorporating input when appropriate or effectively advocating for what?s been determined to be the best direction for the product and the company.
? Review specs created by the team and give effective feedback at the appropriate level of detail for the audience, guiding the team to clearly written requirements documents.
? Identify and adjust the team's direction or process to maximize outcomes by recommending a shift in investment. Set and achieve meaningful OKRs for the team. Ensure financial analysis supports the benefits, justifying the costs across products in the team.
? Effectively understand development testing results and coordinate UAT for an initiative to ensure a high-quality launch. Test features and effectively rally additional support for their team (from relevant stakeholders) when a feature or release is incredibly complex or risky. Coach their team to deliver high-quality features.
? Take an iterative approach to building and shipping features that balance moving quickly and delivering effective functionality. Make tough trade-off decisions resulting in a successful initial launch and quick, data-driven iterations. Connect the team's work back to senior management's objectives, helping the customer-centric team clearly understand the importance of their work.
? Communicate effectively with diverse audiences, translating between business requests and technical needs. Facilitate and resolve disagreements over scope, design, and requirements.
? Understand and comply with bank policy, laws, regulations, and the bank's BSA/AML Program, as applicable to your job duties. This includes but is not limited to; complete compliance training and adhere to internal procedures and controls; report any known violations of compliance policy, laws, or regulations and report any suspicious customer and/or account activity.

? Bachelor?s Degree in a technical field or equivalent professional or military experience
? 9 years of experience in product management or related fields. Relevant experience includes a broad range of areas, including:
o Working and delivering across teams and across disciplines
o Operating in a regulated industry
o Quantitative and qualitative product research
o Communicating technical requirements, product strategies and solutions to internal and external audiences
o Effective data-informed decision making
o General understanding of technology
? Business-to-business (B2B) experience.
? Knowledge of the latest trends and best practices of modern product management.
? Relevant military experience is considered for veterans and transitioning service members.
