Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)/ Home Health Aide (HHA)

Job Summary:
We are seeking compassionate Home Health Aides to provide essential care and support to individuals in their homes. As a Home Health Aide, you will assist clients with daily activities, personal care, and ensure their well-being.

Duties:
• Provide personal care including, baths, oral hygiene, shampoos, and changing bed linen.

• Complete charting in Wellsky within 48 hours of visit.

• Assist patients with dressing and undressing.

• Assist with mobility and physical therapy exercises.

• Prepare and serve nutritious meals according to dietary needs.

• Provide skin care to prevent breakdown.

• Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment.

• Assist in feeding the patient, if necessary.

• Report on patient?s condition and significant changes to the assigned nurse.

Skills:
• Experience in home care, senior care, dementia care, catheter care, or hospice care
• Ability to maintain medical records and document patient progress accurately
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality of medical information
• Proficient in meal preparation and following dietary guidelines
• Strong communication skills and empathy towards clients and their families

Qalification for Certified Nurse Assistant /HHA

• A valid Certified Nursing Assistant Certification in the state of Texas.

• Nurse aide training/competency eval program approved by the state of Texas and listed in good standing on the Texas nurse aide registry

• Certified Nurse Assistant current BLS/CPR Certification.

• Valid TX Driver's License and auto insurance.

• Excel at building rapport with patients and providing the highest quality of care

• At least one year experience as a Home Health Aide or Nursing Assistant in a hospital, nursing home, or long-term care facility.
