Develop and implement maintenance strategies and procedures to ensure the reliability and efficiency of production processes.
Lead and manage a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
Plan and oversee maintenance projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential maintenance issues and implement corrective actions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve maintenance-related problems.
Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and new technologies to continuously improve maintenance processes.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures.
Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and contractors for maintenance services and supplies.
Monitor and analyze maintenance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
Participate in the hiring process for maintenance team members and provide ongoing performance evaluations.
Communicate with upper management to provide updates on maintenance activities and make recommendations for improvement.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the maintenance team.
