As an HVAC Mechanic Apprentice at Johnson Controls, you will embark on a journey to develop your skills in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. You will have the opportunity to work on various mechanical equipment, performing routine service and inspections, and learning about the latest building automation technologies. Responsibilities
? Perform routine service and inspections on HVAC mechanical equipment as assigned by the Employer.

? Change and service filters for HVAC systems.
,
? Oil and grease mechanical components as needed.
,
? Adjust or replace belts in HVAC systems.
,
? Clean cooling towers, coils, evaporator and condenser tubes, and maintain general housekeeping standards.
,
? Assist in the operation of mechanical systems under contract with customers.
,
? Conduct cleaning and routine maintenance of solar energy equipment.
,
? Engage in Indoor Air Quality related work, including maintenance of duct systems and drain pans.

Requirements
? High School Diploma or equivalent.

? Light technical and mechanically inclined.
,
? Passion and desire to learn and apply skills on the job.

? Attention to detail through interpersonal, digital, and written skills.

? Self-starter with the ability to eventually work independently.

? Prioritize safety in all forms.

? Valid driver's license required.
