Machine Operator
Posted 2025-04-22Machine Operators must have a strong understanding of the machines they work with and are responsible for ensuring our company produces on-time quality parts for our customers. In-depth training may be required to prepare a Machine Operator for their daily duties. The essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
? Assist in the installation, set-up, maintenance, and repair of machinery.
? Operate tools and machinery to aid the manufacturing process.
? Perform periodic checks on equipment and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
? Oversee the machine while executing tasks and make necessary adjustments to improve results.
? Produce quality parts according to manufacturing targets and schedules as directed by the Plant Manager.
? Record all machine actions and log completed parts for record keeping.
? Assume responsibility for ensuring the duties of this position are performed in a safe and efficient manner.
? Keep a clean and orderly work area.
? Perform other duties that may be assigned by the Plant Manager.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
? To perform this job successfully, an individual must be willing to learn and improve to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
? High school diploma or GED required. Adequate work experience may be substituted in lieu of diploma or GED.
? Willingness to follow written or oral work instructions and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods of time.
Preferred Skills
? Previous machine operating experience in a manufacturing facility.
? Familiarity of various manufacturing tools and machinery including but not limited to facers, lathes, CNC?s, and other mechanical machinery.
? Bilingual language skills in English and Spanish.
? Ability to work well with others, be organized and detail-oriented.
? Ability to lift heavy equipment, to bend, and to stand or walk for long periods of time.
? Willingness to work in shifts that may include early or late hours, weekends, or overtime if necessary.

? Satisfactory pre-employment drug testing is required.
