The Warehouse Operator Lead will perform assigned lead activities, execute warehouse tasks and operate warehouse equipment per warehouse documentation, occasional guidance and an in-depth understanding of warehouse processes and procedures and support others. In this role you will support efficient and safe operations.

Key Accountabilities
? Assisting with training, reviewing and implementation of programs.
? Making decisions about shipping/ receiving including responsibility and accountability in supervisor?s absence
? Accountable of delivering instructions to the crew
? Communicating with all levels of the organization
? Understanding, adhering and follow to all safety rules and regulations as well as reporting all concerns or violations to the Leadership Team
? Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
? Leads work doing a variety of tasks such as operating computerized labeling and scale systems, operating forklifts, high reach equipment, pallet jacks, loading / unloading trailers, communicating with truck drivers, conducting safety checks of trailers, operate tools to ensure compliance across all areas of the warehouse.
? Leads will perform PPE checks, assist with the new hire Ramp-In Process, help teach employees in the Warehouse Department how to properly utilize tools including box knives, knives, temperature (I/R) Guns, and thermometers.
? Understanding and adhering to all safety, food safety and HR rules and regulations while working in a fast-paced environment, surrounded by powered industrial trucks.
? Possess basic understanding of the tasks being performed by warehouse employees and demonstrate a history of safe mobile equipment operation.
? Exposure to wet and/or humid conditions in a warm or cool environment, as well as slippery surfaces at varied heights.
? Standing for long periods of time, the use of stairs, and wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) in designated areas of the facility.
? This position requires the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.
? Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Required Qualifications: ? Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third-party employer. ? Cargill requires employees be a minimum of 18 years old to work in a production facility. ? Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written) ? Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting safely, with or without a reasonable accommodation ? Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) ? Ability to work overtime including weekends, holidays, or different shifts with advance notice ? Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above) ? Basic computer skills ? Forklift experience ? At least 1 year of experience in production related work ? Prior experience leading diverse teams in an industrial or warehouse environment
Preferred Qualifications: ? High School diploma or GED equivalent ? Previous experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint ? Experience with inventory systems
