This is a Government facility that is comprised of a mixture of Contractor, Civil Service, and Military personnel. This SCA Librarian will perform duties within the Technical Publications Library as part of the Intermediate Maintenance Activity?s Quality Department. Our Team in Yorktown, Virginia is customer focused, process driven, and dedicated to continuous improvement.Responsibilities Include:Update, maintain, and review controlled Publications and Technical ManualsPrepare and forward Requests for Problem Resolution (RPRs) through the Common Problem Reporting System (CPRS) for approvalConduct audits relating to processes and systems level applicationsDevelopment of various reports, as assignedProvide technical data and support to the IMA Quality Manager and customers as requiredMust be disciplined to follow detailed instructions and comply with proceduresSupport continuous process improvement and innovationAbility to work occasional overtime to meet specific mission requirementsBasic QualificationsActive U.S. Department of Defense (DOD) Secret security clearanceHigh school Diploma or HS DegreeAbility to interpret and assess technical documentationAbility to lift 30 lbs. and able to wear Steel Toe Shoes and other safety gearAbility to obtain Arms and Ammunition Explosive ScreeningProficiency in Microsoft products such as Excel, Access, and WordPreferred Qualifications:Associates DegreePrior manufacturing facility experiencePracticed at continuous process improvementPracticed at effective communication via Training and BriefsSalary Range: $31 - $31The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Northrop Grumman is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce.
