We are seeking a seasoned and skilled Controls Engineer for a permanent role in our Oil and Gas Manufacturing sector. This position offers a dynamic and challenging environment that requires a keen understanding of the industry, innovative problem-solving skills, and a passion for excellence. The successful candidate will be entrusted with the responsibility of managing, designing, and implementing control systems for our manufacturing processes. Responsibilities:
1. Design, develop, and oversee the implementation of end-to-end integrated systems.
2. Monitor and adjust control systems in our manufacturing processes to meet production goals and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
3. Develop and implement efficient and safe control strategies for all equipment and processes.
4. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to identify operational issues and develop cost-effective solutions.
5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of control system operations.
6. Provide technical support and training to the operations team to ensure a proper understanding and operation of control systems.
7. Continuously analyze system performance and efficiency to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
8. Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends in the industry to ensure our control systems are at the forefront of innovation.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role in the Oil and Gas Manufacturing industry.
3. Profound knowledge of PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers).
4. Proven experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining control systems in a manufacturing environment.
5. Strong understanding of regulatory standards and safety procedures within the industry.
6. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a detail-oriented mindset.
7. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex technical information to a non-technical audience.
8. Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
9. Willingness to stay updated with the latest advancements in technology and industry trends.
10. Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet strict deadlines.
