Position Summary:

The Sr. Account Manager is responsible for driving Gilmore product and service sales growth by leveraging technical expertise and strong customer relationships. This role will specifically focus on the global Oil & Gas Subsea Production and Downhole markets. The role will be required to develop and maintain relationships with clients, including engineering and purchasing teams.

? Identify sales opportunities within the assigned markets and implement strategies to sell solutions to new accounts.
? Expand sales in existing accounts by introducing new products and services.
? Maintain current and potential client relationships; identify potential business challenges and offer solutions.
? Work to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction; manage assigned accounts through quality checks and account support.
? Provide post-sales account support and work with engineering to lead troubleshooting assistance.
? Initiate sales process by scheduling appointments, making sales presentations, and understanding customer requirements.
? Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific sales targets and to project the number of contacts to be made.
? Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and sales contracts.
? Close sales by building rapport with potential account, explaining product and service capabilities, and overcoming objections in order to achieve or exceed sales targets.
? Provide sales forecasts and reports to management, as requested.
? Maintain up to date Gilmore product knowledge and communicate new Gilmore product and service opportunities to customers as appropriate.
? Contribute information to Gilmore's market strategy by monitoring competitive products and reactions from accounts to identify trends and customer needs.
? Attend industry events, trade shows and conferences to network and generate leads.

Required Education:

Essential
? High School diploma or equivalent required.
? Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university in Engineering, Science, Business, Marketing or equivalent sales experience desired.

Preferred
? Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) from an accredited college/university preferred.

Required Skills/Experience:
? Five (5) years outside sales experience, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
? Strong technical understanding of valves and/or hydraulic control systems.
? Excellent customer service skills with ability to interface with all internal and external levels of management, employees, vendors, and customers.
? Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with customers in a manner that promotes Gilmore.
? Demonstrated proficiency in computer skills including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), ERP systems and Web-based tools (CRM).
? Ability to work independently efficiently with minimal supervision.
? Ability to travel in assigned territory up to 50% of the time.

Preferred
? Solid oil and gas contacts, specifically within production and downhole design decision makers.
? Prior transferable experience, such as product engineering and field technical support.
? Knowledge of drilling, production, and/or downhole Oil & Gas operations to provide solutions for customer requirements.

? Capable of traveling to various facilities around the region, as well as international locations for meetings, onsite support, or training as necessary and directed.
? Ability to walk, stand, bend, sit, lift, push, pull and move objects for up to 8 hours per day.
? Ability to lift and carry files, packages, boxes weighing up to fifty (50) pounds.
? Speak/hear and use specific vision abilities such as close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
? Capable of properly using standard office equipment, including telephone, and a computer with keyboard.
? Ability to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Includes steel toe shoes and safety glasses. Additional PPE may be required based on location and task.
