Loving Touch Daycare is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Lead Teacher to join our team for our Two-Year-Old Classroom. We are in the process of preparing for our Quality Rated observation and need a strong, capable teacher who is already proficient with Quality Rated standards and processes. This role is for a professional who requires no additional training and is ready to hit the ground running.
Requirements: ? Current CDA (Child Development Associate Credential) ? This is non-negotiable; please do not apply if you do not have a valid CDA. ? Updated CPR Certification ? Must be current and valid. ? Completion of 10 hours of state-approved training in early childhood education. ? Proficiency in Quality Rated standards with experience in achieving or maintaining accreditation. ? Strong classroom management skills with the ability to maintain structure and engagement. ? Job Duties for Lead Teacher (Two-Year-Old Classroom):
1. Classroom Management:
? Maintain a structured and engaging environment conducive to the growth and development of two-year-olds.
? Ensure the safety, well-being, and supervision of children at all times.
? Manage classroom routines, transitions, and schedules effectively to create a predictable and organized learning environment.
2. Lesson Planning and Curriculum Implementation:
? Develop and execute age-appropriate lesson plans that align with the center?s curriculum and learning goals.
? Incorporate developmentally appropriate activities that foster physical, social, emotional, and cognitive growth.
? Utilize creative and interactive teaching methods to keep children engaged and excited about learning.
3. Developmental Assessments:
? Monitor and document each child?s developmental milestones and progress.
? Use observation and assessment tools to tailor learning experiences to meet individual needs.
? Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child?s development, behavior, and achievements.
4. Compliance and Quality Standards:
? Ensure compliance with Quality Rated standards, state licensing requirements, and center policies.
? Maintain classroom cleanliness, organization, and a safe environment in line with health and safety regulations.
? Be prepared for Quality Rated observations and contribute to the daycare?s accreditation goals.
5. Leadership and Collaboration:
