Kenneth Park Architects, an architectural firm with offices in NY and LA, is looking for an Assistant Office and Billing Manger for our New York Office. Assistant Office and Billing Manager
? Manage the development, execution and communication of Kenneth Park Architects Los Angeles Operations projects.
? Support department to generate, maintain and execute Policy and Procedure Manuals including Store Operations, Loss Prevention, COP and New Hire Orientation. Maintain on-line versions and updates. Facilitate the development of new manuals and subsequent rollout.
? Perform billable aspects of a project that may require more client interface, such as, assist with opening new project numbers, research, permit submittals, accompany team to project meetings, etc.
? Maintain an all department calendar, project plan and checklist around critical tasks and timing for new, potential and ongoing projects. Work with all departments to track and report progress. Monitor all employee travel for client compliance with policy and budget adherence. Develop tracking and reporting methodology versus plan.
? Ensure the accurate and timely analysis of budgets, forecasts, financial reports, and financial trends in order to assist Executive Management team
? Support the development of the annual planning cycle and interim financial updates
? Manage and execute Special Projects as assigned.
? Provide general admin duties such as answering phones, preparing project team?s courier service packages when needed, ordering food for specific team meetings, maintaining office supplies.
? Maintain store history files including equipment vendor, services and finish schedules and support procurement and invoice processes.
? Responsible for filing, and maintaining accurate file documentation. Assist project team with archiving as needed for the project files, and coordinating with other staff members to ensure complete archiving of projects.
? Perform other assignments that may be assigned by Managing Director or Office Manager.

Basic Qualifications: ? College degree ? Strong computer skills - Advanced Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook knowledge required. ? Confidentiality, discretion and diplomacy when handling sensitive issues. ? Clear and concise communication skills (both written and verbal); excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. ? Strong attention to detail. ? Ability to take the initiative and find efficient, creative solutions to problems.

Desired Qualifications: ? 3+ years of demonstrated professional development and advancement in accounting focused roles ? Experience working as a Controller or similar hands-on capacity in a previous role ? Ability to assess and implement policies to automate and control numerous accounting processes ? Strong knowledge of US GAAP, internal controls, operational risk assessment, and financial reporting ? Proven ability to manage projects and collaborate with cross functional teams

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
