You will be accountable to ensure that the best possible terms and conditions for all Siemens Companies in the Americas are achieved. Ensure the supplier partnering strategies for the market are in line with the business strategies of the divisions, and all risk factors related are managed and mitigated for the company. The position requires the ability to work in a global environment and implement strategies that are in line with the Region Americas organization.

We are looking for a Commodity Manager to join our team.

This position will be based out of our Orlando, FL or Alpharetta, GA office and will work a hybrid work model sharing time between the office and home.

? Guide overall procurement strategy planning, execute and control the Indirect Material impact on business operating results with responsibilities for a subset the following: Management Consulting, Legal Services, Marketing Services or HR.

? Implement and support IT solutions to optimize all areas of responsibility.

? Develop and execute SCM purchasing strategies to meet a variety of local, business unit, division and corporate goals in line with global commodity strategies.

? Participates in the negotiation of prices, terms and quality requirements; prepare requests for proposals and assist in the development of new supply sources.

? Solicit cost reduction ideas from suppliers and initiates follow up action to implement these savings for the company.

? May provide general guidance or train support staff

You?ll win us over by having the following qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

? BS or BA Degree required.

? 5 or more years in various procurement functions with focus on Commodity Management.

? Minimum 4 years of negotiating small to large-scale contracts.

? Proficient with MS Office Suite (PPT, Word and Excel).

? Proficiency in English (written and verbal)

? Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

? MBA preferred.

? A high degree of original and independent thinking in often undefined areas.

? Analytical ability and judgment to make effective business decisions.

? Ability to interface with all levels of personnel within the company.

? Attention to detail with excellent organization

? Ability to handle multiple projects or tasks while effectively prioritizing to meet deadlines in an ever changing fast paced environment.

? The combined pay range for both positions is $73,500 - $153,700 and the annual incentive target is 10% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
