What you'll do:
As a Corporate Paralegal, your role will be diverse and challenging. You will be responsible for providing crucial support to the Legal team, assisting in a wide range of tasks from reviewing, preparing and filing SEC filings to coordinating board meeting materials. Your excellent organizational skills will be put to good use as you manage entity documentation, draft board minutes and resolutions, maintain investor relations inbox and log among other duties. Your ability to multi-task will be essential as you assist with regulatory filings, capital market transactions, shareholder meetings while also conducting legal research.
? Assisting in the review, preparation and filing of SEC filings
? Maintaining and managing entity documentation; entity formation/dissolution
? Drafting board minutes and resolutions; managing company minute books
? Maintaining investor relations inbox and log
? Coordinating and preparing board meeting materials
? Assisting with regulatory filings, including NYSE compliance and CFTC exemption filings
? Assisting with capital market transactions, including creating and maintaining data rooms, diligence charts and closing checklists
? Managing company website
? Assisting with shareholder meetings
? Conducting legal research
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Corporate Paralegal position brings a wealth of experience from a major law firm or financial institution. With a Bachelor's degree under your belt, you possess excellent computer skills including proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Adobe. Your exceptional verbal and written communication skills enable you to interact professionally with colleagues and service providers. Your strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills allow you to manage a diverse workload effectively. You can prioritize tasks, handle confidential information with discretion, and work well under pressure. A general understanding of the finance industry would be advantageous.
? Bachelor?s Degree
? Minimum two years of paralegal experience at a major law firm or major financial institution
? Excellent computer skills required; MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Adobe
? Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with colleagues and service providers
? Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
? Ability to prioritize workload and recognize the importance of demands given by team
