In this role, you'll take ownership of designing, implementing, and maintaining secure systems while proactively identifying and mitigating cyber risks. You'll work closely with IT Infrastructure and other teams to develop comprehensive security strategies, respond to incidents, and ensure compliance with evolving security standards. What You?ll Do:
Strategy & Planning:
? Develop and execute security strategies that align with TEA?s organizational goals.
? Conduct risk assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and implement mitigation strategies.
? Design secure systems and networks, incorporating best-in-class security measures from the start.
? Create and maintain cyber security incident response plans for swift, effective action.
? Collaborate across teams to continuously enhance TEA?s cyber security posture.
Acquisition & Deployment:
? Research, evaluate, and implement security technologies to strengthen our defenses.
? Integrate new security solutions seamlessly with existing systems and infrastructure.
? Partner with vendors and third-party providers to ensure optimal security tool implementation.
? Test and validate security tools, ensuring they meet TEA?s security needs.
? Provide training and foster a security-aware culture across the organization.
Operational Management:
? Oversee security monitoring systems to detect and respond to incidents promptly.
? Conduct vulnerability assessments and manage patching to address identified risks.
? Administer access controls, ensuring permissions align with business needs and security policies.
? Maintain and enforce security policies, updating them to address emerging threats.
? Conduct security audits and assessments, identifying areas for improvement.
? Analyze security incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
Team Collaboration & Support:
? Assist IT teams with system support and security-related initiatives.
? Maintain documentation for security processes, procedures, and configurations.
? Mentor and support team members in cyber security best practices.
? Be available for on-call duty as needed to respond to security incidents.
What You Bring:
? Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in a technical field (or equivalent experience) with 3-5 years of hands-on cyber security experience.
? Technical Expertise: Proven ability to implement and support security solutions, servers, operating systems, and virtualization environments.
? Certifications (Preferred): Microsoft certifications, CompTIA Security+, CISM, or CISSP.
? Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with cyber security best practices, risk assessments, and incident response frameworks.
? Collaborative Mindset: Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate security concepts effectively.
