Responsibilities include reviewing trial balances for anomalies, assisting in annual year-end closing processes, preparing financial reporting entries, and providing assistance to Department staff in establishing new FLAIR accounting codes. The role also involves monthly reconciliations of various accounts and completing special projects as assigned.
Responsibilities
? Perform reconciliation of FLAIR records to State Accounts for cash receipts and disbursements.

? Ensure Department?s cash balance agrees with State Accounts.

? Review trial balance for anomalies and notify personnel of issues.

? Assist in annual year-end closing processes and prepare necessary financial reporting entries.

? Assist fiscal staff and budget coordinators in analyzing FLAIR data.

Requirements
? Four years of work-related experience in an accounting or auditing related field.

? A college degree in a business-related field can be substituted for required experience on a year-for-year basis.
