Gardening Social Media Manager and Content Creator

Hello, we?re a mom & pop online seed shop looking to grow our team! We?re looking for someone passionate about plants and gardening that can help us expand our presence online and grow our community of gardening hobbyists.

A little bit about Plantflix: our little shop specializes in indoor gardening, we sell all kinds of seeds and gardening supplies perfect for indoor and container gardening, because we believe anyone should be able to get the therapeutic benefits of gardening regardless of the amount of space they may have in their home. We?re particularly known for our collection of exotic and houseplant seed varieties, which are tricky to find anywhere else(yep, we have seeds for tropical plants like Monstera Deliciosa and succulents like Lithops)!

We?re looking for someone who can grow with our business. At the start you?ll be doing just a few hours a week, but there?s room to grow!

What this job entails:

Since we?re a such a small business, you?ll be working closely with me, Alina(the owner) to do a mix of the following:
? Social media strategy and management
? Photo and Video Content creation
? Email marketing
? Graphics(mostly with Canva)

Of course given our type of business, this position also includes lots of free seeds and bulbs, and lots of gardening projects!

You?d be perfect for this role if you are:

Skills and requirements: ? Love of plants and gardening, and at least some experience with plant care. Extra knowledge about different types of houseplants is a bonus! ? Good understanding of Instagram and Tiktok. We also have a presence on Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest so some experience with those platforms helps. ? Basic photo and video editing experience(Instagram/Tiktok/Youtube Shorts editors are fine!) ? (not required, but helpful)Experience with Canva or any kind of graphics software

Job Types: Part-time, Internship, Contract

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
