Industrial Boiler Technician
Posted 2025-04-22The Plant Utilities Lead responsibilities will include:
Lead by example and drive all Plant and Safety policies and procedures within the Central Plant, including wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), ensure all LOTO meets company policy as well as adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). Ensure team members are accountable to same.
Train and assist Plant Utility Technicians when needed. Effectively communicate job knowledge and process changes to the Utilities team and management through various forms of daily communication (shift handover meeting, daily brewing meetings, email, action logs, work orders, etc.).
Ensure continuous operation of the Central Plant (Utility equipment, boilers, chillers, RO systems, well, CO2 recovery, well injection, cooling towers) through active leadership of the Utilities team, monitoring and troubleshooting. Report out responsibilities for Process Water Treatment Plant.
Complete daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual tasks using Standard Operating Procedures (SOP?s) to ensure sustained and repeatable quality and overall performance results.
Effective escalation measures taken for safety, equipment and/or personnel issues for immediate resolution.
Qualified candidates will have:
2 to 4 years of leadership experience in plant manufacturing/commercial utilities and working on chillers/boilers, or an equivalent.
Experience using a CMMS system for scheduling and planning maintenance activities.
Experience in the use of toxic and hazardous chemicals, therefore, the lead must have the technical expertise, judgment, skills, and training in safe procedures for handling and operating these substances.
This position is well suited for you if you have/are:
Must be skilled with the proper use of power and hand tools, forklift experience is helpful.
Must be skilled in mathematics, mechanics, chemistry.
Must have a basic knowledge of microbiology, electrical systems, controls systems, and industrial maintenance.
Must be proficient in the use of computer skills such as MS office, Teams, and email.
Boiler operator?s certification, preferred. ADEQ Grade 2 WWT certification, preferred.

Pay starts at $32.00
