Perform routine maintenance and repairs on locomotives and railcars to ensure safe and efficient operation.

Conduct thorough inspections of equipment to identify and troubleshoot any mechanical or electrical issues.

Utilize technical knowledge and problem-solving skills to diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical problems.

Follow safety protocols and adhere to company policies and procedures while working on equipment.

Collaborate with other team members to complete maintenance and repairs in a timely and efficient manner.

Communicate any equipment issues or concerns to supervisors and work together to develop solutions.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work, including documenting any changes or updates made to equipment.

Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations related to equipment maintenance and repair.
