Job Overview: Seeking an experienced Senior Quality Assurance Manager to support infrastructure enhancements required for FDOT systems interacting with the state-wide accounting system. This role is critical in ensuring quality assurance standards are met as FDOT transitions to the Florida Planning, Accounting, and Ledger Management (PALM) system, a modern financial management solution replacing legacy state accounting functions. The transition, aligning with the Florida PALM Project timeline, is set to go live in January 2026.

Key Responsibilities: ? Serve as a Scrum Master and servant leader for the QA team, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement. ? Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of quality assurance processes. ? Monitor, track, and report defects, ensuring timely resolution. ? Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and automated/manual test scripts. ? Evaluate existing quality assurance practices and recommend enhancements and tool implementations. ? Establish and monitor quality assurance metrics for performance measurement. ? Lead the integration of quality principles into software development and IT processes. ? Mentor and provide knowledge transfer to QA team members. ? Ensure compliance with FDOT?s quality standards and customer requirements. ? Advocate for quality assurance best practices through training, team facilitation, and strategic communication. ? Develop and implement advanced testing methodologies to align with the Florida PALM solution.

Educational Qualifications: ? Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. ? Alternatively, two years of relevant experience may substitute for education requirements.

Experience Requirements: ? 7-8 years of professional experience in Software Quality Assurance or a related field. ? Experience in a DevOps environment is preferred. ? At least 5 years of experience in developing and conducting test processes across multiple systems and users. ? Minimum of 5 years of management, supervisory, or team leadership experience. ? 2-3 years of leadership experience in Enterprise Architecture. ? Experience with transportation technology (2-3 years) is a plus. ? Familiarity with Informatica IICS Cloud Data Integration tools and Snowflake is highly desirable.

? Oversee test planning, script development, automation, and execution.
? Drive strategic quality assurance initiatives aligned with FDOT?s system transition efforts.

Pay Details: $90.00 to $105.00 per hour
