About the position

We are currently seeking a Phlebotomist to work in either a Patient Service Center or client office. In this role, you will provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections, and be the face of the company. You will have the opportunity to work flexible schedules, with options for Monday to Friday from 6:30 AM to 3 PM or 8 AM to 5 PM, along with rotating Saturday shifts from 7 AM to 12 PM. This position also involves off-site collections as needed, with a one-hour lunch break included. In addition to performing blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups, you will collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and more. You will be responsible for accurately entering patient information, processing billing information, and collecting payments when required. Preparing all collected specimens for testing and analysis, maintaining patient and specimen information logs, and providing superior customer service to all patients are also key responsibilities. Administrative and clerical duties may be necessary, and travel to additional sites may be required as needed. This role offers opportunities for continuous growth within the organization.

Responsibilities

Requirements
? High school diploma or equivalent
,
? Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency is preferred
,
? Previous experience as a phlebotomist
,
? Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
,
? Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
,
? Ability to work independently or in a team environment
,
? Comfortable working under minimal supervision
,
? Reliable transportation and clean driving record if applicable
,
? Flexibility to work overtime as needed
,
? Able to pass a standardized color blindness test

? Experience with Point of Care Testing including A1C, Urine HCG, finger stick glucose, Rapid Strep A
