The Retail Banker I is a vital customer liaison role at TD Bank, responsible for delivering the bank's brand promise through financial expertise and consultative advice. This position plays a crucial role in helping customers navigate their banking needs and achieve their financial goals. The Retail Banker I is expected to contribute to the bank's business objectives by identifying appropriate solutions that enhance customer relationships and drive growth. In this role, the Retail Banker I must be proficient in the bank's products and services, enabling them to educate customers and refer them to the appropriate team members or internal partners. The position requires a broad understanding of the bank's offerings and the ability to make product recommendations based on customer needs. The Retail Banker I will utilize Customer Relationship Management tools to proactively assess customer needs and engage in outbound sales activities. The role also involves participating in customer outreach and providing advice to ensure a positive customer experience. The Retail Banker I must maintain an active registration status with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) and engage in conversations about loan products, facilitating the application process. This position requires strong customer service skills, the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, and excellent communication skills to effectively convey information to customers and team members.

Responsibilities

? Act as a point of escalation for customer questions or concerns.

Requirements
? High School Diploma or GED required.

? 1+ years of related experience required.
,
? Teller experience preferred.
,
? Superior customer service skills.
,
? Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

? Excellent communication skills, concise and clear.
,
? Demonstrated ability to schedule and prioritize work effectively.

? Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

? Sound judgment in decision-making and effective problem-solving skills.

? Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

? Notary License preferred.
