We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth of product lines within their designated territory. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, developing strong customer relationships, and executing effective sales strategies to increase market share.
Essential functions
? Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers within fire departments, dealers, and other target markets.
? Identify sales opportunities and present tailored product solutions to customers.
? Work closely with the District Sales Manager to implement strategic sales initiatives.
? Provide product demonstrations and training to customers, including fire departments and training academies.
? Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market trends in the CRM.
? Achieve sales targets by identifying new customers and expanding business with existing clients.
? Attend trade shows and industry events to promote Snap-tite and FireQuipp products.
? Collaborate with marketing, production, and customer service teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
? Stay informed about industry trends, competitive products, and market developments.
Additional Responsibilities
? Work closely with District Sales Manager and company leadership on contract and sales negotiations.
? Provide customer feedback to the District Sales Manager and management to enhance product offerings.
? Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Requirements
Competencies
? Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software.
? Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
? Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
? Self-motivated with strong problem-solving abilities.
? Ability to work independently while aligning with company goals and sales strategies.
Work environment
? Extensive Travel within assigned territory and trade shows.
? Periodic weekend or evening work as needed.
Physical demands
? Up to 20lbs of force exerted occasionally.
? Up to 15lbs frequently
? Significant sitting
Travel required.
? Travel to trade shows and exhibitions as directed.
? Will be expected to travel frequently for customer and company meetings.
Required education and experience
? Bachelor?s degree or equivalent sales experience preferably in manufacturing or similar industry.
? A minimum of 2 years? experience in outside sales required.
? Must possess a valid drivers license with no major driving violations.
Preferred education and experience
? Previous working knowledge of Microsoft 365 Dynamics
? Previous experience in contract negotiations
