Senior Recruiting Specialist (8186)
Job Summary: The Senior Recruiting Specialist plays a key role in building a diverse and highly skilled workforce. This position is responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process, including implementing effective sourcing strategies, managing recruiting partnerships, career platforms, and job boards. Responsibilities also include making first contact with candidates, scheduling and conducting interviews, and facilitating communication between candidates and hiring managers.
Duties & Responsibilities: ? Utilize advanced interviewing techniques to assess and identify top talent ? Facilitate all phases of the recruitment process, from sourcing to placement ? Identify and implement efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the role, industry standards, and organizational needs ? Build and maintain a professional network to source candidates ? Conduct candidate assessments to ensure alignment with job requirements ? Schedule interviews and prepare interview questions and other hiring materials ? Assist with the interview process by attending and conducting interviews with hiring managers, directors, and other stakeholders as necessary ? Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, as well as company policies ? Attend college job fairs, career events, and recruiting sessions to attract top talent ? Collaborate with other departments to ensure current job openings are listed on company websites ? Maintain efficient hiring strategies with a focus on 24/48/72-hour recruitment timelines ? Provide candidates with timely updates throughout the interview process, including rejection notifications ? Demonstrate proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) ? Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications: ? Minimum of 5 years of experience in recruiting ? High School Diploma or equivalent ? Bachelor?s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred but not required ? Proficiency in career platforms such as Indeed, LinkedIn, ZipRecruiter, and ATS systems ? Proven track record of successful full-cycle recruiting ? Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices and employment laws ? Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines ? Valid Driver?s License ? Excellent interpersonal skills ? Proactive and independent with a strong ability to take initiative ? Highly organized with a focus on maintaining consistency ? Ability to adapt quickly and learn new skills, software, and technologies ? Strong verbal and written communication skills ? Must contribute to and take ownership of the safety culture ? Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
