Job Summary:

As a Shipping and Receiving/Material Handling Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing our warehouse operations, ensuring the smooth flow of materials in and out of our facility. This position requires a hands-on approach to handling goods, operating forklifts, and assisting with material handling tasks, including mixing colors into resin and loading resin into injection molding machines. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, efficient, safety-conscious, and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Operate forklifts safely to move goods around the warehouse and to shipping and receiving area.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Assist in material handling tasks, including accurately mixing colors into resin and loading resin into injection molding machines as per production requirements.
  • Perform written inventory controls and maintain high standards of inventory accuracy.
  • Prepare shipping documents and ensure that all orders are packed correctly and shipped on time.
  • Inspect goods for damage and verify quantities and descriptions against shipping records.
  • Work closely with the production team to ensure smooth operations and timely completion of orders.
  • Keep detailed written records of packing slips, shipping documents
  • Work closely with office staff to coordinate inbound/outbound shipments.
  • Prepare small shipments with Fedex/UPS/DHL as well as large LTL shipments.
  • Help load and unload container freight shipments.
  • Coordinate cleaning of the warehouse.
  • Ensure that inventory is housed in the correct areas and re-organize as necessary.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid forklift operator license with proficient operating experience.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Previous experience in shipping, receiving, and material handling is preferred.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and teamwork abilities.
  • Willingness to adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures.
  • Must be able to keep detailed written records of shipments and various procedures.
  • Must be able to go up and down stairs.

Work 8-hour Shifts with the possibility of Overtime on Saturday's

Qualifications:

Must have Forklift experience with Sit-down.

Must have Manufacturing experience.

Wear steal toe boots or shoes

Be eligible to work in the united states
